San Francisco, CA (March 28, 2005)–One Union Recording, a multiple award-winning audio post production facility in the heart of San Francisco, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month.
“We are extremely proud to be here 10 years on,” reported One Union’s facility director John McGleenan. “The past 10 years have been amazing, but it’s nothing compared to what is coming up at One Union.”
Indeed, McGleenan and the One Union staff have been busy upgrading the facility’s technical prowess with a recent upgrade to Digidesign Pro Tools|HD Accel, as well as adding square footage to the facility in order to continue to serve an ever increasing list of clients in the film, television and advertising markets with ADR, mixing and sound design services.
One Union has hosted some of Hollywood’s most popular actors, including Robin Williams, Sean Penn, Keanu Reeves, Robin Wright Penn and Mary Gibbs, who voiced the character of Boo in the 2001 smash hit Monsters, Inc. At the same time, a number of Clio Award-winning advertising spots have come through the facility.
“We made a plan to go from radio advertising spots to feature films, from 50 clients to 500, and from just over 1,000-square-feet to just under 11,000, 10 years ago,” McGleenan said. “Each of those things has happened and now we’re looking forward to shine the spotlight on the San Francisco post production community. We’ve laid the groundwork, but the best is yet to come.”
