Rockland, MA (June 1, 2009)–Professional Audio Design (PAD) has appointed Jesus Cardoso as head of business development, Hispanic markets.
In the newly created position, he will be responsible for developing and executing PAD’s Hispanic sales initiatives in the U.S., Mexico and Latin American markets. Cardoso will report directly to Dave Malekpour, president of PAD.
Cardoso, a graduate of Berklee College of Music, has been an audio engineer for many years and more recently owned and operated one of the first Pro Tools-based recording studios in Mexico City. Cardoso is also a former client of Professional Audio Design. His new role will entail providing studio integration consulting for Spanish clients, as well as managing the import/export process.
“The Hispanic professional audio market represents a tremendous growth opportunity for us, both domestically and internationally,” commented Malekpour. “By bringing Jesus on board, we are better equipped than ever before to deliver our world-class professional audio services to these markets and meet their needs at a local level.”
“PAD is in a unique position to address the Hispanic professional audio market, which is vastly underserved,” added Cardoso. “Our shipping and logistics capabilities, as well as our understanding of import/export, enable us to provide knowledgeable, holistic solutions to our Spanish-speaking clients.”
