Toronto (July 22, 2008)--The Seventh annual PAL Show will take place on August 24 and 25, 2008 at Toronto's International Centre, 6900 Airport Rd. The PAL show positions itself as “Canada's only dedicated trade show for pro audio, lighting, video, AV and Staging Products,” featuring technology, events and networking opportunities.
The show reportedly provides a strategic networking opportunity for Canadian production professionals. Free admission and free parking are provided and the show is located adjacent to the Toronto airport.
This year, PAL features the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) workshops, which provides technical training courses. Project Management, Business Design and Technical Knowledge are a few of the courses offered at the NSCA workshop. The rising Canadian economy and a stable market make Canada an attractive place to look for new opportunities.
Industry partners include the Audio Engineering Society, National Systems Contractors Association, the Canadian Recording Industry Association and Cirque du Soleil.
PAL's producers, the Music Industries Association of Canada (MIAC), is a national, non-profit, trade association representing Canadian manufacturers, distributors and retailers of musical, pro audio, lighting and video products. MIAC has been producing trade shows for over 30 years.
