San Francisco, CA (March 15, 2004)–Paul Stubblebine Mastering recently moved to a new location, expanding its facilities. The new facility offers two new mastering suites, purpose-built surround rooms, and in part addresses an increased vitality in the grassroots music scene in Northern California. Paul Stubblebine worked with Nancy Irish Designs to design the new mastering suites, and Bob Hodas Acoustic Analysis to assure optimum acoustical performance in the rooms.
Paul Stubblebine recently mastered two CDs for Acoustic Disc–the Sam Bush/David Grisman album Hold On We’re Strummin and Riders In the Sky: Silver Jubilee, a double CD celebrating the 25th anniversary of the band. Stubblebine also recently mastered the new 4AD album from The Mountain Goats, which was produced by John Vanderslice, and Prokofiev’s Ivan The Terrible–a surround SACD recording of the St. Louis Symphony–for Mobile Fidelity. He also mastered albums for Super Diamond, Steve Bahcall, The Kissers and Davey Pattison, as well as artist Tim Janis’s “Beautiful America” music, to accompany a PBS television special on National Parks.
Michael Romanowski’s recent mastering projects include albums for Ray’s Vast Basement, Mimi Fox, 4Deep/4nomenon, Nua, and Tijuana Strip Club. He also mastered the soundtrack of current indie film release Confessions of A Burning Man.
