San Francisco, CA (April 21, 2005)--Bay Area band Plum Crazy recently brought their debut album project to be mastered at Paul Stubblebine Mastering & DVD in San Francisco. Producer/engineer Sean Beresford and engineer Bob Daspit were there to oversee the sessions along with the band. Beresford produced the new Plum Crazy album and mixed all the studio tracks, while Daspit mixed the album's three live tracks.

Plum Crazy is a groove-based band that plays a danceable mix of rock, pop, blues, jazz, funk and bluegrass. Developing their potent musical chemistry in front of live audiences, the band is playing shows with an intensity that takes their music to the limits of self-expression. With nearly 30 live shows in 2004, Plum Crazy is gearing up for about 90 shows in 2005 to support their new album.

The band features Shawna Anderson on vocals, Josh Yenne on guitar and vocals, Skip Urmson on drums, Greg Garvey on bass, and Dan Zemelman on keyboards and vocals.

Beresford has worked with Third Eye Blind and The Donnas among many other top recording artists. Daspit, a musician, engineer and producer, has worked with film composers Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, and James Newton-Howard, and most recently has been producing and engineering albums for rock legend Sammy Hagar.

Daspit commented on the mastering session, "Not only did Paul Stubblebine conduct the mastering session smoothly and efficiently, he made the music come to life with subtle yet essential tweaks. Listening to the music in Paul's monitoring environment felt like I was truly hearing it for the first time."

To ensure the highest quality, PSM offers carefully selected audio technology such as the Pacific Microsonics analog and digital converters, and for SACD, Meitner converters; Esoteric Audio Research, Z-Systems, Weiss and TC Electronic signal processors, and mastering workstations from Sonic Solutions and Sadie, along with Alon Wolf designed speakers.

Plum Crazy's self-titled album will be released at the band's April 16 Napa, CA-area performance and will be available through their website at www.plumcrazymusic.com as well as at their live shows.
