Stockholm, Sweden (October 30, 2006)--PreSonus Audio has announced that Propellerheads' Reason Adapted virtual instrument software will be included with all current and future PreSonus firewire recording systems. PreSonus will first ship Reason Adapted with its new flagship recording system, the FireStudio. All currently shipping firewire recording systems including the Firepod, Firebox and Inspire 1394 will ship with Reason Adapted by January 2007.

Reason Adapted is a slimmed-down version of Reason, Propellerhead Software's music production instrument. Reason Adapted is distributed as a part of various software bundles.

"This is an exciting opportunity for Propellerheads and Reason," said Timothy Self, Sr. VP sales and marketing. "For those who are not familiar with Reason, it will give them a great introduction to the program. Reason has become an industry standard in music production and we're pleased to be working in tandem with PreSonus to grow each of our client bases."

Reason Adapted will be added to the PreSonus ProPak Software Suite, which ships with all PreSonus recording systems. The PreSonus ProPak includes Cubase LE, Amplitube LE, BFD Lite, Riff Works and over 2GB of plug-ins drum loops, and samples.
