PreSonus Ships FireStudio Lightpipe

PreSonus FireStudio Lightpipe.Baton Rouge, LA (August 18, 2008)--PreSonus Audio Electronics has begun shipping its FireStudio Lightpipe, a 24-bit/96 kHz ADAT lightpipe to FireWire computer recording system for both PC and Macintosh computer systems.

The FireStudio Lightpipe allows users to convert up to 32 channels of ADAT optical lightpipe input/output to FireWire providing a multichannel computer interface for digital mixers, AD/DA converters or ADAT recorders. FireStudio Lightpipe features JetPLL jitter-elimination technology for synchronization and imaging and clarity, along with a 34x4 DSP matrix mixer allowing users to create dual zero-latency monitor mixes. Input/output LED meters are located on the front panel for visual monitoring of all signals.

Other features include word clock and MIDI I/O, balanced TRS stereo main outputs with volume control, a headphone amplifier with volume control and the ability to work with Cubase, Logic, Nuendo, Sonar, plus many others.
