New York (December 1, 2008)–Blogging has become a popular way for a corporation to get its message out there, but what if your pro audio outfit needs help honing that message in the first place? Well, there’s a blog for that, too: The WhizBang•PowWow.
The blog, which launched last month, aims to provide insights and advice from Bob Martin and Neil Glassman, who have conducted marketing campaigns for pro audio stalwarts such as Sennheiser, Neumann, Comrex, Broadcast Electronics, Telos Systems, Fiberplex, Anderson Stringed Instruments, BSW and others.
Designed for companies that sell audio technology products and services, the blog’s ideas and discussions aim to generate creative sparks that break the sound barrier. Topics include marketing in the recession, product naming, getting coverage in trade periodicals, electronic versus print advertising and a branding boot camp.
Bob Martin is principal of RTM & Associates, Inc. in Rochester, NY and Neil Glassman manages his strategy and marketing consultancy from New York City. With more than a half-century of combined experience, the two work independently, but their collaborations, like those of Rogers and Hammerstein, Lennon and McCartney, Watson and Crick, Seinfeld and David, as well as Beavis and Butthead, have yielded measurable results for their clients.
