Nashville, TN (May 4, 2009)--Nashville-based producer/engineer Dan Rudin has created webmix.us, a web-based service intended to make it easier for independent artists, home/project studio recordists and producers to access major-league engineering talent to enhance their projects.

Available in five languages, webmix.us has been designed to make it easier to hire a pro mix engineer from anywhere in the world.

“Now that great performances can be captured almost anywhere,” says Rudin, “the need for an experienced mix engineer to pull all the pieces together is more important than ever.”

At the same time, Rudin feels that security is an important issue. “Trust is very important when hiring anyone, especially for a creative endeavor. So the question was, how could I build a site that not only tells people about what I’m offering, but also creates the confidence needed for them to hire me without being directly referred by a friend or colleague?”

Webmix.us is secured by GoDaddy.com, and transactions are securely routed through PayPal. Membership is free and registered members purchase mixes through the store, then upload their files to their personal folder on an integrated ftp site.

Rudin is a 25-year industry veteran who owns his own recording facility in Nashville, equipped with a vintage Neve Flying Faders console and ample outboard gear.
