San Francisco, CA (January 20, 2005)--Pyramind: The Institute For Advanced Digital Audio Training, had its first class session with new instructor and respected engineer Frank Gryner. Gryner was brought in to show Pyramind students first hand miking and tracking techniques. Gryner recently flew up from Los Angeles along with the rap-metal band AWS to record a track for their upcoming Peace of Mind EP. The recording session and Pyramind's Advanced Music Production Class (MP&E 301) took place at Hibiki Studios in Mountain View.

Gryner is a rock and hard rock producer and engineer and who's worked on major albums and projects including Rob Zombie, The Dandy Warhols, Bon Jovi, The Crystal Method, Korn, BT, Methods of Mayhem, and Fischerspooner among many others.

"The recording session with Frank Gryner went great," stated Greg Gordon, founder and president of Pyramind. "Having the combination of a high caliber engineer and producer, and a band like AWS at the Hibiki studios was perfect for the students. They really got a lesson in the real world of making a record."
