QSC Adds HPR Self-Powered Loudspeakers

Costa Mesa, CA (March 2, 2006)--QSC Audio has added to its loudspeaker line with the HPR Series. Boasting heavy-duty, 13-ply birch enclosures, tour-grade 16-gauge steel grilles, ergonomic handles and 3-inch castors, the HPR line is designed to travel.

The HPR152F is a 2-way, biamplified 15-inch system delivering 500 watts of continuous power with an extended frequency range of 48-20,000 Hz and a coverage pattern of 90x60 degrees. The HPR153F is a 3-way, horn-loaded design featuring a 15-inch low-frequency driver, a 6-inch midrange and 1.4-inch compression driver. With a dispersion pattern of 90x40 degrees and 600 watts of continuous power, the HPR153F boasts an extended frequency range of 37-20,000 Hz.

The new HPR Series also features the HPR151W, a 15-inch subwoofer capable of outputting 133 dB of peak SPL and a low-frequency response down to 43 Hz; as well as the HPR181W, an 18-inch subwoofer with a peak SPL of 134 dB and a range to 39 Hz.
