Seattle, WA (September 9, 2004)--Michael Wilton, lead guitarist for the bands Queensryche and Soulbender, will be using a Sabine SWM7000 2.4 GHz Smart Spectrum wireless guitar system while on tour this fall behind Queensryche’s album Art of Live. The tour begins next month.

The SWM7000 2.4 GHz wireless mic system has aluminum transmitters, with controls hidden behind security covers. The on/off switch on the beltpack transmitter is programmable, and the antenna is hard rubber and built into the case. "The Sabine wireless beltpack is solid, whereas some of the others on the market today are plastic and fatigue after just a few weeks," said Wilton.

"The Sabine wireless is reliable and never dropped out once," Wilton added. "Other members of the band use other people’s expensive wireless systems that always drop out. The sound quality of the Sabine wireless is extremely good for the guitar. It works really well for live sound. In the future, I’m going to get our lead singer, Geoff Tate, a Sabine handheld wireless."
