New York, NY (July 19, 2004)–July at Sound on Sound Studios brought an eclectic mix of high profile music projects as well as radio and television spots. Quincy Jones’ “We Are The Future” project inhabited the SSL 9072J-equipped Studio A, with mixing being done with producer Mark Ross and engineer Paul Logus. The Food Network was also tracking a new theme in Studio A, featuring the Cringe with producer John Cusimano and engineer Steve Hardy.
In Studio B, Korn was mixing material on the SSL 9072J, with producer Lil’ Jon and engineer Brian Stanley, and Miri Ben-Ari was mixing with producer Oltad and engineer Kevin Crouse. Dirtbag tracked and mixed an upcoming release with producer Kool & Dre and Stanley engineering and Yung Wun was in tracking vocals with producer Swizz Beatz and engineer Cortez Farris. American Idol’s Fantasia was recording in Studio C with producer Swizz Beatz and engineer Steve Conover.
And in Studio D, equipped with Digidesign Pro Tools HD4, Bristal was tracking and mixing for a Universal release with producer Joey IE and engineer Kris Lewis. Def Jam artist Shyne also tracked and mixed in Studio D, with producer Bobby Springsteen and engineer Mark Phafler.
