Anaheim, CA (February 3, 2004)–Rapco International, a manufacturer of audio and video interfacing and cable equipment, announced the introduction of the new AVI-100 Audio-Video Interface at Winter NAMM last month. The Rapco AVI-100 gives musicians a variety of input/output options for audio/video products designed for use in a wide-range of public venues.
“The AVI-100 takes any high-impedance consumer-grade equipment, such as a camcorder audio out, electric guitar, keyboard, or home audio hi-fi, and converts it to a professionally balanced low-impedance signal or mic level,” said Pam Walters, product specialist engineer, Rapco International. “Because the AVI-100 has such a variety of inputs, the musician has several options to work with in order to achieve the best sound possible whether they are using it in their home or in a theater or stadium.”
Musicians can use the versatile AVI-100 for home studio applications where they eventually need to transfer the music to tape or other types of recording devices. The AVI-100 takes virtually any type of input and converts it to a balanced mic level output. This gives the musician the ability to connect the signal to a professional mixing console.
The AVI-100 Audio-Video Interface can be used with audio or video recorders, classroom smart boards, projectors, portable public address systems, phonographs, tape players, CD players, and more. The AVI-100 will be available at local music stores for a suggested retail price of $89.95.
