Atlanta, GA (March 16, 2005)–Sonica Recording kicked off 2005 with Atlanta heat seekers, Red Letter Agent wrapping up their forthcoming release, Burn The Good Ones Down. Sonica owner John Briglevich stepped in to engineer and co-produce with RLA.

The CD, made available yesterday in Atlanta area Best Buy stores, will be released on April 5th to all Atlanta stores, as well as ITunes.
When asked about the project Briglevich said, “A big part of RLA’s ambient sound on disk is a combination of the old school API console and the big tracking spaces at Sonica. I take for granted having 32 killer pre’s and EQs. We were constantly experimenting with mics, instruments, and spaces. From $10 toy mics to the BLUE Bottle, Lawsons to Neumanns, we tried it all. Also, the 1176’s and LA-2A’s got quite a workout as well. Pro Tools was a useful component for the mix. Most important, the band has great songwriting and performing chops, and have an open mind about production.”
