Foothill Ranch, CA (April 23, 2004)–Renkus-Heinz continues to expand its e-commerce facilities. The company’s Web site, renkus-heinz.com, now offers online order tracking for authorized dealers, as well as the Configurator order configuration and placement online application.
The password-protected section now allows authorized Renkus-Heinz dealers to access detailed order information and to track order status from initial submission to delivery. Critical stages in the order process include: confirmation, credit approval, production, ship dates (required, changed and actual) and delivery date. After shipment, the online order tracker provides links to common carriers and shipment tracking numbers.
A second password controls online access to financial information such as outstanding invoices, credit limits, sales totals, etc. Realizing that this information is sensitive, Renkus-Heinz developers have given the dealer total control of access, with a password that can be changed only by the dealer.
