Riedel’s MADI-108 G2 client card. Elmsford, NY (January 11, 2008)–Riedel Communications has released its MADI-108 G2 client card for its Artist digital matrix intercom platform. The card provides a MADI interface that allows the integration of the Artist intercom platform with digital audio router systems.
All Artist intercom control panels are connected to the matrix via standard AES3 signals. So instead of laying additional cables, it is now possible to connect intercom panels to the audio router using the router’s infrastructure for panel distribution. The MADI card also furnishes a solution for connecting multichannel audio between the audio router and the intercom system.
The MADI-108 G2 client card is “cascadable,” with each card adding eight audio channels to the MADI signal up to a maximum of 64 channels. The MADI connection from the client card to the audio router occurs via coax or fiber cabling.
