Elmsford, NY (August 29, 2007)--Riedel's Digital party line (DPL) system solutions were used by flag station, tower control and race control members during the recent NASCAR's Busch Series Race at Montreal's Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

The decision to utilize Riedel technology was made by Solotech Inc., which assisted NASCAR with the integration and implementation of audio equipment and recommended Riedel's Performer C44 System Interface, Performer C3 Digital Beltpack and Performer C31 Split box for communication during the race.

"We recently used Riedel equipment for the pit lanes and race control towers at the F1 races held in Montreal," commented Eric Massicotte, special project manager for Solotech Inc. "We were so pleased with the technology's performance that there was no reason to switch for the NASCAR's Busch Series Race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Riedel's equipment provided us with high-quality audio, was easy to use and a snap to setup."

At the race, Solotech utilized 41 Performer C3 Beltpacks on 26,000 feet of AES/EBU digital cable; seven C31 Split Boxes were also used.
