Los Angeles, CA (March 27, 2008)--Roland has added to its line of portable digital recorders with the R-09HR. It features an updated design with an upgraded pro-quality stereo microphone and an onboard preview speaker for instant audio playback.
The R-09HR features condenser microphone elements and low-noise preamp circuitry for recordings on the go. Users can record in .WAV or MP3 formats with resolution up to 24-bit/96 kHz, and can navigate recordings with its larger, wider, high-contrast LED screen.
The R-09HR also comes with a wireless remote controller for operation from a distance. It offers features like speed control, variable low-cut filter, limiter, A-B repeat, record pause, time and date stamping, power save and more. The R-09HR records to SD/SDHC media cards up to 32GB, and includes Cakewalk's Pyro Audio Creator LE software for audio editing functions.
Slightly taller than its predecessor and featuring a new rubberized-grip body, the battery-powered R-09HR allows over 6 hours of recording with Alkaline batteries, and more than 8 hours of recording with NiMH rechargeable batteries.
