Nashville, TN (September 14, 2006)--Engineer/producer Dan Rudin (Newsboys, Riders in the Sky) recently purchased and renovated the venerable Money Pit Studio in Nashville. The new facility, now named My Space Recording, is Rudin's personal workspace as well as the new home to commercial music house IV Music. Rudin's studio features a Neve V-60 console, Pro Tools HD3, a new Yamaha Grand Piano and his collection of vintage gear and microphones.

"I started out looking for a small space to roll my gear into for mixing, just to be able to spend more time on that part of the process and stay more competitive price-wise with the guys who do everything at home," Rudin recalled. "I wanted to enhance the services I already provide my clients. But with this building, I ended up with a very comfortable, professional environment that I can do entire projects in, tracks to mix. And even though the spaces are very separate, with IV Music up in the front I feel a real sense of community, one of the things I really miss in a typical home-studio environment."

Recent projects include tracking and mixing Disney's theatrical release of High School Musical with producer Bryan Louiselle, and local singer/songwriter Kristin Dare was in to record vocals for her upcoming release.
