Frankfurt, Germany (April 7, 2011)--During Pro Light + Sound, Selenium has debuted its 6W16P 6-inch midbass, 8W16P 8-inch and 10W16P 10-inch woofers for pro audio.
“Launching our first line of loudspeakers under the Harman family name is a great accomplishment for Selenium,” stated Rodrigo Kniest, country manager, Selenium.
Available in eight and 16 ohms, the W16P series is constructed with an aluminum frame and wire voice coil, a non-pressed long fiber cellulose cone, cloth surround and push-on terminals. The models are aimed for integration into line array systems, portable PAs and speaker monitors.
The 6W16P, 8W16P and 10W16P, respectively boast a resonance of 125, 95 and 66, frequency response of 90-4,000, 80-5,000 and 70-4,000 at 10 dB and a net weight of 2,700 grams, 3,720g and 4,920g.
