Los Angeles (September 28, 2004)–Selenium USA, located in Chesapeake, VA on the east coast of Virginia, is responsible for all of Selenium’s commercial and logistic transactions within North America. To better serve customers on the West Coast, Selenium has opened a new distribution center in Los Angeles, scheduled to begin operation on October 15.
This new facility will improve efficiency as well as increase personalized customer attention. Deliveries to customers in the Los Angeles area will be made within 24 hours, and a delivery time not to exceed 72 hours will apply for all other West Coast customers. Selenium will also offer Just-In-Time delivery for OEM manufacturers, helping them to better and more cost-effectively reach their goals.
Selenium’s goal is to add value to its products and to increase the logistical efficiency of its supply chain from start to finish. According to Daniel Salomao, Selenium international sales manager, by using the new facility, the company will be more capable of “better serving its customers and meeting the demands of the ever-growing North American market.”
