Sennheiser Appoints Escobedo

Old Lyme, CT (January 30, 2008)--Sennheiser Electronic Corporation has appointed Ben Escobedo to the newly created position of associate product manager, music industry products, including the evolution wired and wireless lines, the classic dynamic microphones and studio monitor headphones. His responsibilities include forecasting and maintaining inventory, providing customer support, implementing training sessions, executing trade shows, assisting and maintaining product catalogs, building rep support and business relationships.

Ben Escobedo, Sennheiser.Old Lyme, CT (January 30, 2008)--Sennheiser Electronic Corporation has appointed Ben Escobedo to the newly created position of associate product manager, music industry products, including the evolution wired and wireless lines, the classic dynamic microphones and studio monitor headphones. His responsibilities include forecasting and maintaining inventory, providing customer support, implementing training sessions, executing trade shows, assisting and maintaining product catalogs, building rep support and business relationships.

When asked why he chose Sennheiser, Escobedo replied, "I've always had a passion for electronics and music. I enjoy modifying guitar electronics almost as much as I enjoy playing the guitar. Working at Sennheiser will allow me to apply my skills in an environment I really enjoy. Whether it's helping a customer with mic selection, or working with a band to configure a multichannel wireless system, it's fun. As I grew up in Old Lyme, where the company is located, being at Sennheiser is a dream come true."

Escobedo reports to Robb Blumenreder (see January 18, 2008 story), industry team manager, music industry, who feels that Ben's background and passion for music, coupled with his technical knowledge, organizational and people skills, makes him a natural for this position.
