Old Lyme, CT (June 29, 2007)--Sennheiser has appointed Tim Moore to the position of Artist Relations Manager. Moore previously has worked as an engineer and tour/production manager for some of country music's biggest names, including Jamie O'Neal, Blake Shelton, and Taylor Swift. Moore replaces Kristy Jo Winkler, who was recently promoted to the role of Relations Manager for the Americas and Canada in Sennheiser Germany's new Global Relations Division.
Tim Moore.Moore will cement Sennheiser's relationship with current endorsees while finding new talent and engineers to promote the Sennheiser, Neumann and Klein + Hummel brands. Noted Moore, "The focus and pace of artist relations at Sennheiser is phenomenal. I could not have been hired at a more auspicious time in the company's growth cycle. This is a great opportunity and I intend to make the most of it."
Moore will report to Stefanie Reichert, vice president of strategic marketing for Sennheiser. Regarding the hire, Reichert said, "Tim's background makes him the perfect person to take the reigns from Kristy Jo at this point in time. He has spent most of his career 'in the trenches,' using Sennheiser and Neumann gear along side equipment from our competitors. From hands on experience, night after night, he knows how to effectively communicate our quality standards in fidelity, flexibility and reliability to his peers."
Although he will travel extensively in his new position, Moore is based in Nashville, his hometown and an ode to his Country roots.
