Robb BlumenrederOld Lyme, CT (January 18, 2008)--Sennheiser Electronic Corporation has promoted Robb Blumenreder to the position of industry team manager, music industry. He started his career at Sennheiser in 2002 as an intern and began a swift ride up the corporate ladder. In his new role, Blumenreder plans, develops and manages short- and long-term strategies for all aspects of marketing and distribution of Sennheiser products to the music industry channel in the U.S.

"It was only natural that I would tap Robb for the newly created position of industry team manager, MI," said Jeff Alexander, vice president of sales and marketing for the professional products group. "Robb's a quick study, loves working in the music industry market, he's creative and delivers a skilled sales and marketing approach to what can be quite a mercurial, yet a potentially sales-packed, marketplace. Robb's remarkable performance over the last several months really proves I made the right choice."

Blumenreder first served as product manager for the InnovaSon and Chevin brands, and shortly thereafter was named product manager for the other brands distributed through Sennheiser Electronic Corporation. In 2006, he was promoted to product manager for music industry products, particularly Sennheiser's evolution wireless line.

"I'm extremely proud to be associated with this dynamic, global team and the accomplishments that we continue to achieve in our served markets," stated Blumenreder. "I plan on fully embracing the challenge of developing our music industry channel and look forward to enhancing our relationship with our dealers and partners throughout the United States and Latin America."
