Hollywood, CA (March 28, 2008)--SonicPool provided a diverse array of audio services for a number of different television projects recently, including mixing, online, ADR and HD online, as well as renting its edit suites.
SonicPool provided mixing and online services to client Sci-Fi Channel for the reality TV series Destination Truth. The series, hosted by Josh Gates, takes viewers across the globe in search of answers to some of the world's most notorious supernatural mysteries.
SonicPool also completed ADR for The Border, an action/drama series airing on Canada's CBC Network. The Border follows the main investigative team from Canada's Immigration and Customs Services (ICS), lifting stories from the headlines to fuel an action-packed dramatic series about maintaining security in a post-9/11 world.
For client Spike TV, SonicPool provided the mix and HD online for Spike's on-air TV promos publicizing its upcoming Star Wars marathon event. Spike TV will air all six Star Wars films during April 2008.
SonicPool recently added three new editorial suites and is undergoing an overall facility remodel. In addition, the company has beefed up its HD online capabilities, adding Avid DS and Symphony systems, with true 4:4:4 technology, along with HD projection. Said John Frost and Patrick Bird, co-founders, SonicPool, "We are working with more and more clients who are posting their projects in HD, so we felt now was the time to make some improvements and investments to accommodate the growing demand."
