Hollywood, CA (November 2, 2007) SonicPool co-founders and sound mixers, John Frost and Patrick Bird, have promoted Daniel Stuart to the position of audio editor and have also promoted Kristina Allison to production coordinator.
In his new position, Stuart, who was previously a production assistant, is currently working on sound design for the feature film Lonely Street, specifically cutting effects, assisting with ADR and recording/editing Foley. That film was shot in Stuart’s hometown of Albuquerque, NM, where SonicPool co-owner John Frost hails from as well.
Stuart is also working on radio spots for ABC Daytime Television, as well as engineering VO sessions for various other clients. He is the catalyst behind the development of SonicPool’s soon to be announced SFX (sound effects) library.
Allison, previously a production assistant, spends her days coordinating projects between clients and SonicPool’s audio and video finishing departments and the edit suite rental facilities. She is the navigator that keeps the facility and all of its the various projects on track. Allison is a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film and Media Studies.
Launched in Hollywood in 2001, SonicPool is comprised of 14 SD and HD offline and online edit suites, two theatrical mix stages and two stereo mix suites. Additionally, the company offers its clients production office space rentals to accompany offline edit suites.
