Hollywood, CA (January 28, 2008)--SonicPool kicked off the new year with a number of independent film projects. The Hollywood-based facility was responsible for audio post and offline picture editing for Killer Movie, mixed the theatrical trailer for Smother and provided the offline editorial services for Wonderful World.

SonicPool provided the film mix, sound design and offline editorial facilities for Killer Movie, written and directed by first-time film producer Jeff Fisher, for client Dead of Winter Productions. The film stars several young, up-and-coming Hollywood actors, including Kaley Cuoco, Nestor Carbonell, Paul Wesley, Al Santos, Jason London and 'N Sync's J.C. Chasez.

Said Fisher, "This is our first time working with SonicPool, and they are very welcoming; this is a very friendly environment, and working with them is a pleasure on all levels. [Co-founders] John Frost and Patrick Bird and their team are very hands-on, they have highly positive attitudes, while still offering us a boutique approach, which is a good fit for me and for our film. The energy at SonicPool is contagious!"

SonicPool also provided the theatrical trailer mix promoting the comedy film Smother for client Aglet Productions. The film stars Dax Shepard, Liv Tyler and Diane Keaton, was written by Vince Di Meglio and Tim Rasmussen and directed by Di Meglio.

For Wonderful World and client Media Cooperative, SonicPool provided the offline editorial services. The dramatic romance film stars Matthew Broderick and Ally Walker.
