Hollywood, CA (January 16, 2007)–SonicPool has revealed its latest projects, which run the gamut of indie feature films, television program, TV promos, radio spots and voice over recordings. John Frost and Patrick Bird, co-founders/Supervising Sound Mixers, SonicPool, made the announcement.
SonicPool is currently mixing three new indie feature films, including Treasure Raiders, an action adventure film from the CZAR Film Company of Russia that stars David Carradine and Sherilyn Fenn; Gardens of the Night, starring Peta Wilson, Jeremy Sisto and Tom Arnold; and The Wager, a drama from writer/director Judson Pearce Morgan that stars country singer Randy Travis.
For television, SonicPool has just recently finished the mix of the music editorial for the People’s Choice Awards and has just completed mixing promos and creating the sound design behind the logo for a new cable TV network, FEARnet. In addition, SonicPool is currently mixing and doing sound design for generic promos for The Game Show Network (GSN,) and mixing and doing sound design for a series of TV commercials for Midwest-based Bonton Department stores.
In the area of radio, SonicPool is currently mixing a series of radio spots for Blink, Smokn’ Aces and ABC Daytime television.
SonicPool’s voice over recording work includes a series of commercials promoting Belterra Casino, the play-by-play commentary for the United States Poker Championship, promos for The Disney Channel and the announcer awards package for the Video Games Awards TV special, which recently aired on Spike TV.
