Harman Pro Group and Sound Marketing personnel celebrate the rep group’s multiple awards at the 2007 Harman Pro Group Business & Technology Conference in Huntington Beach, CA.According to Harman Pro Group president, Blake Augsburger, the awards reflect Sound Marketing’s company-wide commitment to excellence in every aspect of customer and manufacturer service. “John Reda and his team deserve all the credit for a spectacular performance in 2006,” Augsburger said. “It is clear by the results generated in 2006 that every member of the Sound Marketing team views sales quotas as the starting point of a good performance. What’s more, Sound Marketing’s team success is also built on a commitment to clear communication with channel partners, customers and manufacturers. On behalf of dbx, Crown, JBL Professional, and the entire Harman Pro Group team, I congratulate John and his team, and we look forward to working with them in 2007.”
Led by founder and CEO, John Reda, Sound Marketing has earned a reputation as one of the most successful and progressive manufacturer rep firms in the industry today. The company places a unique emphasis on comprehensive product training for both team members and customers and has invested in advanced learning centers at each of its offices in Canoga Park, CA, Mishawaka, IN and Bridgeview, IL. Sound Marketing Central’s 2006 award follows the unprecedented performance by Sound Marketing West in 2005 that included the group-level Rep of the Year award and the Rep of the Year awards from AKG, BSS, dbx and Lexicon.
Commenting on the awards, Reda said, “Winning the JBL, Crown and dbx awards is a considerable achievement and a great honor, but to win the Harman Pro Group Award again is especially gratifying for everyone in our organization, particularly for Mike Flynn and the Sound Marketing Central team. Representing these great brands is a privilege that we take very seriously. We are delighted to win these awards, and we look forward to continued success with Harman Pro Group.”
Not only a liaison between manufacturer and seller, Sound Marketing provides valuable training and education to its clients, simultaneously furthering its clients selling success and therefore the success of the manufacturers the group represents. In 1991, Reda created the Sound Marketing Training Center, where the group has held hundreds of events to date. The training center provides an ideal place for manufacturers and dealers to get together, away from the store or office, and learn new products and new methods first-hand. Complete with video projection, PA and seating for 35+ people, the Sound Marketing Training Center plays a very important part in helping dealers to become better, more effective and more knowledgeable salespeople. Reda has instituted a program of regional Technology Expositions, designed to showcase emerging technologies, and provide an opportunity for customers to be educated in new ways and new products. Trainers conduct small-group seminars, designed to increase efficiency and profitability for customers, and to build lasting factory relationships.
