New York, NY (November 25, 2003)–In a different type of session for the NYC recording studio last month, Sound on Sound welcomed director/screenwriter Woody Allen in to shoot a scene for his upcoming film project in Studio A.
Also in Studio A, Def Jam artists 112 were in mixing with engineer Manny Marroquin, and Jive artist Dirt Bag was in mixing wth producer John Monopoly and engineer Brian Stanley. And, Swizz Beatz was at Sound on Sound, tracking with engineer Steve Conover, while Kay Slay mixed an upcoming release with Stanley engineering. The producers of Broadway’s Fame also worked at Sound On Sound, mixing with Hugh Fordin and Cynthia Daniels.
In Studio B, Alicia Keys was tracking and mixing with the Kerry Brothers and engineer Manny Marroquin, and Britney Spears also dropped by to mix and upcoming release with Marroquin and Kanye West. Studio C hosted Young Gunz, who were in mixing with producers Chad Wes and Bink, and engineer Chach, and Arista artists Brooklyn, who were tracking with Sean Garrett and Bojan Dugich.
Finally, in Sound on Sound’s Digidesign Pro Tools HD4-equipped Studio D, Method Man was tracking with producers Rockwilder and RZA and engineers Jamie Gudewicz and Cortez Farris. And, Liive Luch was tracking with Chris Kellam and Gudewicz.
Sound On Sound Recording
