Northridge, CA (December 17, 2004)--Soundcraft has introduced its GB4, a dual-mode, 4-bus mixing console, which utilizes the GB30 mic preamps and EQ designed by founder Graham Blyth for the company's 30th anniversary last year. The desk is well suited for mid-sized fixed installations, such as clubs, theaters and houses of worship, as well as regional touring sound systems.

Available in 12- to 40-mono-channel frame sizes, each with two full-featured stereo channels, the desk is a direct nod to the recent MH4, MH3 and LX7ii consoles. And the GB4's dual-mode topology, similarly borrowed from the MH Series desks, allows it to be used on FOH or monitor duties, with fader control of group or aux outputs.
