Burlington, VT (April 19, 2006)–With SoundToys Native Effects now running on Pro Tools LE, six of SoundToys’ biggest selling plug-ins–worth over $2000–are available to LE users, running Mac OS X, for only $495. The Native Effects package includes EchoBoy, FilterFreak, PhaseMistress, Tremolator, SPEED, and Crystallizer.
EchoBoy is SoundToys’ popular echo/delay modeler, which features 30 echo types from warm studio tape to lo-fi oil can delays, 300+ presets, and MIDI Sync. FilterFreak provides “fat” analog rhythmic filtering, and with MIDI sync, pure funk wah-wah, and huge techno sweeps, can fatten up, thin out, and make your sound move. SoundToys bills PhaseMistress as a “creamy analog sounding phaser,” which provides extensive modulation and MIDI Sync, and is particularly successful on guitar, for vocal effects, and a new twist on drum loops.
Tremolator provides classic modeled tremolos, programmable auto-gate for chopped up DJ effects, dynamic control of speed and depth, plus MIDI sync. SPEED is a time/tempo control and pitch transposition to sync your beats and match your key. And, Crystallizer is a retro pitch-shifting, time slicing, and according to SoundToys, “mind warping” reverse delay plug-in, also with MIDI sync.
