SSL president Phil Wagner, noted, “SSL is very pleased to become a ProPartner with the METAlliance and its founding directors, a group of respected engineers and producers whom SSL has worked with for decades.”

The METAlliance is comprised of a group of globally-recognized, award-winning audio engineers and producers who have been deeply involved in establishing techniques and technical standards that are the foundation of modern music recording. The METAlliance Board of Directors is Chuck Ainlay, Ed Cherney, Frank Filipetti, George Massenburg, Phil Ramone, Elliot Scheiner and Al Schmitt.

METAlliance director Chuck Ainlay commented, “SSL consoles define the sound of modern recordings of the 80’s, 90’s and the present decade and to me it’s still the console of choice.” “We’re truly honored to have SSL in the METAlliance family,” said Elliot Scheiner.

Phil Wagner continued, “We believe the METAlliance mission is completely in sync with SSL’s mission – to make better products and to share knowledge of the craft of making great sounding recordings. We encourage the programs that the METAlliance has initiated with audio educators, as SSL has a strong commitment to the educational community. We look forward to our new Pro Partnership, working closely with our METAlliance colleagues.”

Frank Filipetti remarked, “It is very gratifying to have SSL join in our METAlliance Partnership Program. And I’d be lost without my “Pro Convert.” Ed Cherney commented, “SSL has been an integral part of my professional and personal life for over two decades. I have relied on SSL EQ, compression, and signal processing on just about every project I have ever worked on.” Phil Ramone added, “They always return calls and even solve pilot errors!”
