Sherman Oaks, CA (March 4, 2004)--Steven Klein SCR, a leading designer and builder of commercial recording studios, project studios and post production facilities, has been appointed as a dealer for the remarkable new range of StudioPanel products developed by Media Specialty Resources, Inc.

Company president and "design guru" Steven Klein boasts an impressive 30-year involvement with the professional audio industry, initially as an in-demand recording engineer, and latterly as a seasoned acoustician and studio designer. Standout designs and installations include MPR, Frank Stanton Studios, LA; Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Santa Monica; Roy O. Disney Hall, Valencia; Eldorado Studios, Burbank; John M. Productions, Van Nuys; plus home studios for David Lawrence, Jim Kaufman, Damian Dragici, Joey Waronker, Kevin Agunas, Brian Culbertson and Marc Greene.

"StudioPanel kits are an economical, easy-to-install acoustic treatment solution for studios," Steven Klein explained. The designs are based on scientifically designed building blocks including Absorber/Diffuser pairs, Bazorber, SpringTrap, and CloudPanel. Each kit is calculated to provide optimum absorption and diffusion for a given room size. "StudioPanel is a full frequency component solution."

As Keith Olsen, Media Specialty Resources' director of marketing, said: "Every studio monitor system is affected by room acoustics. Allow the articulation, tonal balance and clarity of your monitors to be heard. Don't chance missing important elements within your mix."

"One strategy is: 'Acoustic solutions that can move'," Klein advised, "because many of our clients work in rentals, office conversions, temporary edit bays, and so on. We incorporate many kinds of in-stock products to create an optimal working environment for both recording and listening."
