"This is by far the most expansive release we've had," said AlterMedia president and Studio Suite designer Joel Stoner. "We've packed more new features into this version than in all previous versions combined, resulting in a refined product that's extremely powerful, easy to use, and more attractive. Studio Suite 8 essentially provides studios with a highly-evolved structure for organization and management right out of the box."
Studio Suite is used by work-at-home editors, engineers, producers, and composers; yet it's also the anchor of operations at facilities ranging from small boutique production studios to major corporations such as Sony, Warner Bros., Fox, BET, and several branches of the U.S. Government.
"Studio Suite has been at the core of our business for years; our staff interacts with it constantly throughout the day," said Dave Wright of Spitfire Media, a high-end post-production facility in Santa Monica. "We like it so much we were literally the first studio to get the upgrade to Studio Suite 8, and it's been really impressive. The new features in version 8 make it even easier to manage the daily mission-critical details of our business--we'd be lost without it."
Pricing is $749 for the initial License, and $449 for each additional networked workstation. Upgrade prices are available. These prices include FileMaker Pro 8.5, which is required. Bundles including FileMaker Server are also available. More details, a downloadable trial version, and a video demo, are available from www.studiosuite.com or by calling 800.450.5740.
