Burbank, CA (June 30, 2004)–AlterMedia, Inc, developer of Studio Suite, the studio management software, has announced that a recent sale to Mainstream ApS Studios in Denmark brings the total number of countries where Studio Suite is deployed to 40.
Mainstream ApS has two mix stages in Denmark, but is also Scandinavia’s biggest film sound post production studio, with nine sound studios, with another mix stage in Sweden. Mainstream has provided the sound post production for over 100 feature films all over the world.
“We bought Studio Suite to get a handle on all of our projects, and to make sure we have all the information we need, collected in just one program that we can network around the facility. This will make it so much easier to manage what’s going on in our studios,” said Berit Dyreborg, booking manager at Mainstream.
“I’m so proud of this milestone–it’s been six years of constant growth,” said Joel Stoner, founder of AlterMedia, and the designer of Studio Suite. “When I started this company, my goal was to make Studio Suite the ‘gold standard’ software of its kind for the industry, and this marker is just another indication that we are readily achieving that goal.”
Studio Suite manages scheduling, projects, contacts, communications, media assets (physical and digital), labeling, media inventories, equipment inventories, budgets, rates, invoices, and much more. It is networkable across platforms (Mac OS9, OSX, Windows), easy to use, and user customizable.
