Woodland Hills, CA (March 15, 2011)–Music library Songs To Your Eyes (STYE) placed numerous cues in Tron: Legacy and the trailer for The Expendables.
STYE and its founder, Opher Yisraeli, continue to show impressive results by licensing music from the company’s catalogues, as well as high-end sound design elements, into trailers promoting some of Hollywood’s biggest films.
Yisraeli said, “In an extremely cluttered music licensing marketplace, Songs To Your Eyes continues to shine and stay one step ahead of the competition by working with trend-setting composers and sound designers.”
STYE placed numerous sound design cues in Disney’s blockbuster film Tron: Legacy. The editors were reportedly drawn to the high-end sound design packages that the company has to offer, and used over six different elements in theatrical and TV trailers to promote that film.
STYE also licensed the opening orchestral piece for the theatrical film trailer promoting the hit Lionsgate film, The Expendables, staring Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Micky Rourke and Bruce Willis. To date, that film has grossed nearly $275 million worldwide.
