New York, NY (December 7, 2005)–The addition of surround sound to video games has opened up the possibilities for game designers and has caught on in a big way with gamers themselves. This topic is explored at the Surround Conference and Expo 2005 with an expert panel in a session appropriately named “Surround Sound Gaming,” which takes place at 3:45 PM on Friday, December 16. Produced by CMP Entertainment Media, Surround 2005 will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, on December 15-16.
The panel is moderated by Keith Arem of PCB Productions, and also includes Mark Ganus from Infinity Ward, Tom Hays from Technicolor, Fred Jones from Electronic Arts, and David Murrant from Sony. These experts will discuss how they are creating immersive audio content for this high-profile medium.
