Westlake Village, CA (August 2, 2006)–Mike Martin has been appointed national sales manager for MI/Recording markets at TC Electronic. In this newly created role, Martin will develop and execute the U.S. marketing strategy for the products in the MI and Recording category, which includes TC Electronic, TC-Helicon and Dynaudio Acoustics.
Mike MartinMartin’s responsibilities will include developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, managing sales rep activities and in conjunction with marketing, gathering data and suggesting products and promotions that will penetrate the market, gain market share and increase sales.
Before joining TC Electronic, Martin held top-level sales and marketing positions at Yamaha Corporation of America. There he oversaw budgeting, marketing direction, sales programs and promotional efforts for professional synthesizer and computer recording products. Prior to joining Yamaha, he held the positions of district sales manager and product manager for Kurzweil Music Systems, and served as director of training at Sonic Foundry. Martin is a graduate of Capital University in Columbus, OH with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Industry.
