New York, NY (October 17, 2005)–Telefunken North America introduced the new R-F-T AK47 tube microphone at the AES Convention earlier this month. The R-F-T AK47 features a proprietary new circuit design based around a custom-wound BV-47 transformer, a dual-sided 6 micron gold-sputtered capsule, and an NOS Telefunken EF 732 sub-miniature tube. The R-F-T AK47 is hand assembled and tested in the company’s Connecticut headquarters.
