"I have been looking for a supplier of high quality connectors and cable to partner with Telex Communications and be able to support our customers with appropriate components; Link USA certainly appears to have the attitude and equipment to fit that requirement," stated Mick Whelan, Telex’s director of concert sound sales, Americas.

Link USA has supplied all the cabling and connectors between the FOH drive rack and the amplifiers; all cabling and connectors between amplifiers and speakers and all the interface panels at the FOH and amplifier racks. The interface panels were designed by Whelan, who, with his many years of experience on the road, has come up with the rack-mount interface box. The EV-branded heavy duty speaker cable, manufactured by Link, features four and eight conductor 2.5mm2 (80 strand) and 4.00mm2 (128 strand) versions based on Link’s Eurocable range. All multi pair cables are individually shielded and jacketed to maintain perfomance through life on the road. "The LK multi pin connectors are the finest I have come across in 25 years of being in this industry," said Whelan.

Components from Link USA will be sold by Telex Communications, with EV/Telex part numbers, for customers requesting "complete packages" or turnkey systems. "We have seen demand for packaged systems increase since the start of our tour and are excited to provide the Link interconnection solutions as part of our sound systems. When putting together a complete sound system using our world-reknowned brands such as EV, Midas and KT, it just does not make any sense to skimp on the cables and interfaces. Link USA has given us a worthy interconnection solution for our excellent products," said Whelan.
