Athens, Greece (August 6, 2004)–The Olympic Committee in Athens took delivery of 25 TerraSonde Digital Audio Toolboxes at the beginning of July thanks to the stellar efforts of the company’s Greek distributor, Omikron Control.
The Olympic Committee was looking for a digital audio tester to outfit their audio technicians and broadcast engineers with that fulfilled challenging requirements – portable, comprehensive and easy to use. After a brief but intensive bidding process and multiple gyrations in specifications, TerraSonde’s Digital Audio Toolbox “cleared the bar” and was selected as the overall winner of the bid.
Patrick O’Neal, newly appointed director of international marketing and sales, stated, “We’re obviously very pleased that we were selected as the vendor of choice. It’s a rare opportunity for us to contribute to the success of the Olympics and also proof positive of the growing need for affordable, powerful digital audio test equipment.”
The Digital Audio Toolbox is a portable measurement device for testing and analyzing all aspects of digital audio. It is 24-bit/96k compatible, can analyze two signals simultaneously, interfaces with most digital audio systems, and includes a complete suite of digital audio measurement and analysis tools.
