Nettetal (December 3, 2003)--With the new SINE product line, TerraTec Producer is putting tried-and-true analog technology for every studio environment into the hands of recordists. This new offering of analog amps, sound generators and line mixers rounds out the company's range of professional I/O solutions for computer-based music production. As disclosed in early November TerraTec Producer and Music and More (MAM) had forged an alliance. The first range of products born of this joint effort--the SINE PA Series--is available effective immediately.

Comprising three stereo amplifiers, the 2 x 60-watt, 4 x 60-watt, and 2 x 100-watt studio power amps are tailored specifically for use with nearfield monitors. The SINE PA line also features a stereo headphones amplifier. Housed in an ultra compact chassis, each SINE PA Series 19" device takes up just a single rack space, and is thus easily accommodated even in very small racks. Onboard overheat protection ensures professional-class reliability, while a switch-on delay circuit eliminates popping noise when monitors are powered up.

The three SINE PA models--SINE PA 120, SINE PA 200 and SINE PA 460--boast a signal-to-noise ratio of 97 dB (at 30 watts and 1 ohm), rendering other background noise inaudible. A special feature of the PA 460 model is a cascaded circuit allowing its output power to be switched from 4 x 60 watts to 2 x 120 watts.
Complementing this line of SINE stereo amps is the SINE HP 48 Headphones Amplifier, with front panel inputs accommodating eight sets of headphones. The 19" device sports four efficient stereo power amps designed to handle the same number of independent input signals. Offering flexible and practical routing options, the HP 48 accepts up to four different signal sources. Available now in retail stores, the SINE PA Series is priced at $199.00 (SINE PA 120), $269.00 (SINE PA 200) and $320.00 (SINE PA 460). The SINE HP 48 Headphones Amplifier sells for 139.00.
