Bangkok, Thailand (November 12, 2007)--The National News Bureau and Channel 11 Public Relations Department of Thailand has purchased 22 HHB FlashMic digital recording microphones for use by its radio reporters.

The FlashMic combines a microphone capsule with a Flash recorder and USB interface. Phanawan Jitsamut, reporter For Royal Activity at The National News Bureau, remarked, "The FlashMic is perfect for radio journalism. The recording quality is extremely high and the 1GB memory means that I can go on gathering interviews without having to worry about running out of recording time. FlashMic also makes it easy for me to organize my recordings and file my reports. With the FlashMic, I can concentrate on the story, not the recorder."

The National News Bureau and Channel 11 join a fast growing list of international broadcasters; users include ABC Radio, CNN, Fox News and NBC in the US, the BBC, BSkyB, NRK, ORF and Radio France in Europe, Aljazeera in the Middle East, and NHK in Japan.
