Weed, CA (September 10, 2004)–RadioStar Studios has been hosting L.A.-based band, The Better Days, recording for Bedrock Music in Studio A. With songs written and developed by Rob Bonfiglio, the album features performances by Joey Waronker and Roger Manning, with Sylvia Massy Shivy producing, and Rich Veltrop and Kale Holmes engineering.
Zeromind has also been working at RadioStar, recording with Joe Hayes in Studio B. And, Dishwalla worked with Veltrop and Massy Shivy on songs for an upcoming release in Studio A on RadioStar’s Neve 8038 console, with Cecil Gregory assisting. Southern Bitch mixed their protest songs in Studio A–an all analog project using RadioStar’s Studer A820 24-track recorder and Ampex ATR-102 2-track for mixdown. From Arkansas, Hap-Hazard knocked out some music in Studio B with Holmes and Massy Shivy co-producing.
And RadioStar reports that two new products from Innertube Audio have been in use–the Atomic Squeeze Box x2 is a mastering quality stereo tube compressor to rival RadioStar Studio A’s Fairchild 670. Also from Innertube is the fabulous MagMic, a vocal quality mic mounted in a flashlight housing.
