Hoboken, NJ (November 6, 2006)–According to Water Music owner Rob Grenoble, Water Music has had one of its best years ever. “Definitely musically,” he adds, “I have really enjoyed the albums we did this year.”
Among those recently finished projects at Water are The Hold Steady album, for Vagrant Records. The Hold Steady recorded in the Big Room with John Agnello producing and engineering. Steve Evetts produced Say Anything for J Records with Chris DeCocco assisting, and David Bendeth produced Silvertide for J Records, Dan Korneff, John Bender and Kato Khandwala engineering.
Also at Water recently, Kevin Salem and Niko Bolas produced and recorded The Mooney Suzuki for V2 Records, Jeff Juliano came in from the Eastern Shore to produce Robert Randolph and the Family Band for Warner Bros, and Gordie Johnson took the reins for Gov’t Mule, recording and mixing the Hoboken hot-spot.
