Las Vegas, NV (January 3, 2007)–In addition to its brand-new recording facility, The Palms Casino Resort is also building a concert theater, called The Pearl. In two separate installations, the hotel ordered an impressive total of 14 Apogee AD-16Xs and 16 DA-16Xs, 30 X-HD Cards and 3 Big Bens to be used in both the Studio at the Palms recording facility and at The Pearl.
The Studio At The PalmsThe Studio at the Palms in Las Vegas resides within the Palms Casino Resort and offers its clientele exclusive amenities both at the studio and at the hotel. George Maloof and Larry Rudolph partnered to open the 8,000 square-foot recording studio, which is under the direction of Zoe Thrall. Apogees are integrated into both the Studio X and Studio Y setups at the Palms.
Thrall elaborates on the setup: “The converter is one of the few pieces of equipment in the studio that is used minute-to-minute in the session. When choosing a converter we wanted something that is reliable, sonically transparent, and by a company with outstanding technical support. Apogee provides all of that. Apogee builds products of first-rate quality that tell our clients we are serious about audio. We are so happy with our Apogee products that we have purchased additional converters and Big Bens for our new concert venue that is opening Spring 2007.”
The Pearl is touted as being one of the most elaborate venues in the world. The Palms installed 6 DA-16Xs, 4 AD-16Xs, 10 X-HD cards and a Big Ben Master Clock in the new concert venue.
