New York, NY (December 12, 2003)–Sessions are rolling in over at Stratosphere Sound Studios, where the accomplished producer Steve Lillywhite recently worked in Studio A with The Rapture, tracking their new single for Mercury Records. Studio A is equipped with a vintage Neve 8068 MkII console, Digidesign Pro Tools Mix Cubed system and an array of classic outboard gear.
Recording artist Ryan Adams also recently worked in Studio A, producing Artemis artist Jesse Malin. Adams, who cut his producer’s teeth on Malin’s solo debut in 2001, worked with Malin on new tracks for an upcoming album.
Other recent Stratosphere customers include Dan Messe and Gary Maurer, who worked in Studio A, recording overdubs and vocals for HEM’s upcoming release on DreamWorks Records. And, Stratosphere co-owner James Iha and house engineer Geoff Sanoff worked in the A room remixing tracks for A Perfect Circle. Another Stratosphere co-owner, Andy Chase, took to the A room recently to mix tracks for The Trash Can Sinatras.
