Gardena, CA (December 7, 2005)--This week Toft Audio Designs announced the launch of the Trident Series ATB Console Pilot Program, established to forge a close relationship between the company and the first 100 console owners. The new Toft Audio Trident Series ATB 16-Channel Mixer is based on the heritage begun with the original console designs by Trident Audio Developments Ltd. Designed by Malcolm Toft's circuits from the 70's, these new units suit project and professional studios alike.

The Trident Series ATB Console "The Pilot Program will allow us to have an ongoing dialog with the first engineers and studios who acquire the boards" stated Justin Hyatt, VP of PMI Audio Group, parent company of Toft Audio. "The feedback we receive will be invaluable in assisting us to direct future development."

The Trident Series ATB Console is the design of Malcolm Toft, best known as the man behind the Trident 70 and 80 Series desks, still in use in many major studios. Slated for April, 2006 delivery, the ATB is a blend of vintage and modern technology, and is available in 16, 24, and 32 channel configurations (up to 88 inputs on mixdown). Pricing for the ATB boards starts at just $2999.
